Pros and Cons

1. Pro:  The world runs on computers

2. Con:  To live successfully in the 21st century everyone will have to learn to operate a computer.

3. Pro:  Everyone from 2 years of age to 92 years of age can learn to use the computer.

4. Con:  To learn the computer one must have the courage to make mistakes and the desire to keep trying. 

Computer Training can be arranged by in-person training or by computer using Skype, IM or email or phone/cell.

Training is a process best taught when both trainer and trainee have a computer.  Repitition and practice are the only two components that are universally used.  However, Anita's training methods go more to having fun and using laughter as a training tool.  The trainee learns each component of the computer and programs/applications.  The trainee in a very short time will learn, with little or no stress, how to use the computer.

Email training is very quickly learned and the trainee will be communicating with friends around the world.

Skyping is an application that is quickly learned. Trainees will be able to see their friends/family at the same time that they speak with them.   

Internet Training can be quickly accomplished and the trainee will be able to use many websites: EBay, Amazon, NetFlix and a host of others. 

The Internet:

The Internet is a program used on the computer. 

PRO: All interests are found on the Internet from auctions (Ebay), car buying, travel, history, entertainment, sports, crochet, gaming and so on.

CON: All sites operate by their own rules. 

PRO:  Navigating through the many websites on the Internet is easy.

CON:  Use of the Internet can become addictive.

PRO:  Email makes talking to friends and family fun and enjoyable.  

CON: Criminals have stepped up their game by using the Internet.  Everyone should obtain knowledge of how to remain safe on the Internet .

Other Technologies:

Cellphones, MP3 Players, DVD's, CD's, VHS, WiFi,Wii, Printers, Faxes, HD, digital cameras, PDS's,etc.

PRO:  There is more to each technology than answering the phone or playing the music.  Take pictures with your cellphone and upload them to your computer, organize your music, pictures and files.

CON:  It always seems easier not to learn something new and status quo seems to be OK since it worked in the past.

PRO:  Some basic concepts are similar from one technology to the other.

CON: Each technology has its dfferences. Therefore it feels like one is starting over with each new item
